Melanie Dirom finalist in prestigious housing award

29 September 2017 • Mike Nuttall

Croftons’ Partner, Melanie Dirom, has been shortlisted for a prestigious ‘Women in Housing Award'.

Melanie (pictured below), who heads up our Housing Management and Tenancy Enforcement team, is a finalist in the ‘Best Consultant’ category, which recognises the work of exceptional professionals and advisers working in the housing and construction sectors.

Judges are looking for “individuals who have contributed towards the building and or the maintaining of strong lasting relationships with customers” and our submission focused on the ‘extra mile’ that Melanie and her team go in support of our clients in the housing and regeneration sector.

“Our clients really value the contribution Melanie makes to their teams, tenants and communities, through her work in tackling ASB and other tenancy issues,” said Croftons’ Managing Partner, Simon Leighton. “Melanie is also known for her pioneering use of new legislation, her proactive and strategic advice, and adding real value to clients through mentoring and training staff. Winning this award would be fantastic recognition of her pre-eminent position in the sector and the profession.”

Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in Manchester on 2 November. Watch this space…!
