Stephen Tonge (pictured) joins our housing and leasehold management team and will support our clients with a range of complex tenancy enforcement matters including disrepair, anti-social behaviour, and associated litigation and advocacy.
Stephen has over 20 years' experience in delivering legal services to social housing providers and local authorities, specialising in housing management, governance, regulation and contracts.
Before joining Croftons, Stephen was Head of Legal Services for Onward Homes Group where he managed the Group's in-house legal service, leading all tenancy enforcement matters and acting as general counsel on the Group's legal, governance & regulatory business.
Simon John joins us as Senior Associate and will support our housing clients on a wide range of property, development and construction matters.
Previously with the in-house team at Chorley Council, Simon has extensive experience of advising on complex and high-value property transactions and regeneration projects, and also brings expertise in commercial property, commercial contracts and procurement.
Clients will also benefit from Simon’s broader construction and property industry experience and insight, having been a Chartered Quantity Surveyor for 15 years prior to qualifying as a solicitor in 2004.
Mark Yiu joins our specialist commercial property team as a Solicitor and will support our clients with tenant and landlord matters, such as lease renewals, re-gears, and break options, as well as other commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions and disposals and wider commercial portfolio management.
Mark also brings experience in conveyancing and residential property work, further bolstering our resources and expertise in those areas.
Prior to joining Croftons Mark worked at property law specialists PLS Solicitors.
