Simon is a specialist property, development and construction lawyer with extensive experience advising on complex, high-value transactions and regeneration projects for housing providers and local authorities.
Simon joined Croftons from Chorley Council where he worked on a number of significant, high-profile projects, providing advice in relation to construction contracts, consultants appointments, collateral warranties, performance bonds, funding agreements and various Infrastructure agreements. He also advised the council on commercial property transactions, commercial contracts and procurement.
Simon supports our housing clients with development, property and property finance transactions, with particular experience and expertise in matters relating to the acquisition of development land, off the shelf schemes, conditional contracts, option agreements, infrastructure agreements, variations to S.106 Agreements, charging / securitisation work, commercial property and construction.
Clients also benefit from Simon’s broader construction and property industry experience and insight, having been a Chartered Quantity Surveyor for 15 years prior to qualifying as a solicitor in 2004.
